1. Scope of Professional Services

MSConsultancy provides statutory planning, cadastral surveying, and civil engineering consultancy services in accordance with the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors (Survey and Spatial NZ) and New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI) Professional Codes of Conduct.

2. Fee Quotations & Council Charges

All fee quotations provided are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and exclude Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless expressly stated otherwise. Direct council charges, including consent lodgement deposits, development contributions (DCs), and Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) title lodgement fees, are billed directly by the respective authority.

3. Privacy & Property Data

Any property addresses, architectural plans, LIM documents, or personal contact information submitted via our website assessment forms are held in strict confidence and used solely for the purpose of preparing planning appraisals, fee proposals, and council submissions on your behalf.

4. 2026 Granny Flat Regulations Disclaimer

Assessments regarding the 2026 National Granny Flat Regulations and District Plan compliance are formulated based on current council statutory rules and operative district plans. Final activity determinations and building approvals are subject to formal council processing and verification.
